Itinerary

DAY 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Your private tour begins with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane to visit its charming village and the famous cedar forest, home to the playful Barbary apes. We’ll pause for lunch before continuing across the mountains, admiring the stunning landscapes of Midelt and the lush Ziz Valley. By evening, we arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a traditional Riad.

DAY 2 : Merzouga Desert Tour and Camel Trekking

Today is dedicated to exploring the magic of the Sahara around the Erg Chebbi dunes. You’ll discover the lifestyle of desert nomads and the striking contrasts of the region. We’ll visit Khamlia, the “black village,” to enjoy the hypnotic rhythms of Gnawa music. Lunch will be a traditional Berber pizza in the ancient town of Rissani. In the late afternoon, a camel trek takes us across the golden dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset. Tonight, you’ll dine on a delicious Tagine, sip mint tea, and enjoy Berber music by the campfire under a star-filled sky before sleeping in a desert camp.

DAY 3 : Merzouga – Dades Gorges

We’ll rise early to watch the magical sunrise over the dunes, then head to a hotel for breakfast and a chance to freshen up. Our journey continues toward Ouarzazate, passing through Berber villages along the way. We’ll explore the spectacular Todra and Dades Gorges before spending the night in a charming hotel in the Dades Valley.

DAY 4 : Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll follow the famous “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” stopping in Kalaat Mgouna, the Valley of Roses, renowned for its annual Rose Festival. From there, we continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that has served as a backdrop for iconic films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and the series Game of Thrones. Finally, we’ll cross the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass before reaching Marrakech, where your tour concludes.
