Your 6 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour begins with an early pickup from your accommodation or Marrakech airport. We cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with several scenic stops to admire panoramic mountain views.
We continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. This historic site has appeared in films such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and the TV series Game of Thrones.
After free time for lunch in Ouarzazate, we travel through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival held each May. In the evening, we arrive in Boumalne Dades for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we drive through the Dades Valley, stopping at scenic viewpoints overlooking the dramatic rock formations and gorges.
We then continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has carved a massive canyon with towering red cliffs. Enjoy free time to walk through the gorge and admire the natural scenery.
After lunch along the way, we drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad toward the Merzouga Sahara Desert.
Upon arrival, you switch to camels and trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stop atop a high dune to witness a magical desert sunset before continuing to your luxury desert camp.
Enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber drum music, and dancing around the campfire under a vast starry sky. Overnight in the desert camp.
Wake up early to admire the unforgettable sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 transfer.
Today is dedicated to exploring the diverse Merzouga region, known for its dunes, fossil areas, wild lakes, mines, and desert oases.
Begin with an off-road drive to visit an ancient eyeliner mine, followed by a visit to nomad families living in traditional woven tents, where you will enjoy Berber tea and learn about their lifestyle.
Continue to Khamlia village to experience authentic Gnaoua music and dance. After free time for lunch, stroll through a palm grove and visit the Merzouga wild lake, also known as Flamingos Lake.

After breakfast, we leave the desert to visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet and an important traditional trading center. Explore its lively souk, especially active on market days.
We continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, before driving along the Ziz Valley and stopping at panoramic viewpoints. Free time for lunch in Midelt.
In the afternoon, we pass through the Cedar Forest, home to the Barbary macaques, and then visit Ifrane, famous for its alpine-style architecture and cool climate, often called the Switzerland of Morocco.
Arrival in Fes. Night in Fes with a free evening to explore the Medina.
After breakfast, you will begin a guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. The tour starts with a panoramic drive, including stops at the Royal Palace Gate, the historic Mellah (Jewish Quarter), and the Borj Sud viewpoint overlooking the ancient Medina.
Visit the Ceramic Village and School to observe traditional craftsmanship, then continue on foot into the UNESCO-listed Fes Medina.
Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, explore highlights such as the Al Attarine Madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine University and Mosque (the oldest existing university in the world), and the colorful Chouara Tanneries.
