Itinerary

DAY 1 : Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains, passing Tetouan on the way. We’ll stop at viewpoints to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes before arriving in Chefchaouen, the famed “Blue Pearl.” Influenced by Andalusian-Spanish architecture, Chefchaouen’s medina is filled with colorful artisan shops, rooftop cafés, and charming riads. Enjoy a relaxed evening with panoramic views and a refreshing mountain breeze.

After breakfast, we travel through Ouazzane and Rif villages to Volubilis, where you’ll explore Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins. Next, we continue to Meknes to see its imposing medina walls, Bab El Mansour gate, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch, we drive to Fes, where you’ll settle in for the night.

Spend the day exploring Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Highlights include the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish quarter (Mellah), and Al-Qarawiyyin University—the oldest in the world. Visit the Attarine Museum, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the famous tanneries. In the afternoon, discover traditional cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view over the entire medina before returning to your hotel.

Today we head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Continue through the cedar forests, home to Barbary apes, and cross the Tizi n’Talghamt pass with stunning views of the Ziz Gorge. After passing Midelt and Erfoud, we arrive in Merzouga, where your desert adventure begins with an overnight stay at a desert campsite.

Wake up to the desert sunrise, then freshen up and enjoy breakfast at a local guesthouse. We’ll then drive towards the spectacular Todra Gorge, famous for its towering canyon walls. Later, we continue to the Dades Valley, passing through traditional Berber villages. Overnight in a local hotel at Dades Gorge.

After breakfast, we travel along the “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Stop at Kalaat Mgouna, renowned for its annual Rose Festival, before continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a striking ksar used as a backdrop in many famous films. Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains to arrive in Marrakech.

Enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech’s highlights, including the lively Jemaa el Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and bustling souks. Discover the city’s modern side in Gueliz, stroll through the Majorelle Gardens, and visit the Menara Gardens for a peaceful escape from the medina.

At the appropriate time, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your Morocco adventure.
