Itinerary

DAY 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

Your private tour begins with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, offering spectacular views along the way. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous filming location for movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate to explore the Atlas Film Studios and a local Kasbah. Journey onward to the Valley of Roses, known for its annual Festival of Roses, before reaching Dades Gorge for an overnight stay in a hotel or riad.

DAY 2 : Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

Travel by 4×4 to the dramatic Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon renowned for its striking scenery. Continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, an oasis town famous for its fossils. Visit a local workshop producing artisan and home décor items made from fossils, with the option to purchase souvenirs. Proceed to Rissani to explore its bustling souk, then drive to the edge of the desert in Merzouga. From there, embark on a camel trek into the dunes, arriving at the Merzouga Desert Camp. Enjoy a traditional starlit Berber dinner accompanied by tribal music around a desert campfire.

DAY 3 : Merzouga Desert Exploration

Spend the day exploring the Sahara Desert at your own pace. Options include camel trekking or 4×4 excursions across the dunes. Visit Khamlia village, famous for its traditional Gnawa music. Don’t miss the unforgettable sunset over the golden desert dunes. Overnight stay at a local riad.

DAY 4 : Merzouga – Midelt – Fes

Rise early to catch the Sahara sunrise and return by camel to your hotel to freshen up. After breakfast, drive through Rissani and Erfoud, stopping in the Atlas Mountains town of Midelt for lunch. Continue to Fes, where you’ll overnight at a hotel or riad.

DAY 5 : Fes – Chefchaouen

Explore Fes, the oldest city in Morocco, winding through its alleys and narrow streets. Discover Fes el Bali (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Fes-Jdid (home to the Jewish quarter), and Ville Nouvelle, the newest area built during the French occupation. Later, drive to Chefchaouen, where you’ll stay overnight.

DAY 6 : Exploring Merzouga – Nomads – Khamlia – Lake Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Palm Grove

Visit the main attractions and monuments of Chefchaouen, then drive back to your hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 7 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedars Forest – Ifrane – Fes

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport, where the tour concludes.
