Itinerary

DAY 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes

Your private tour begins with a driver picking you up from your hotel in Casablanca. We’ll first explore the city’s main cultural attractions before heading to Rabat for a brief tour of the capital. From there, we’ll continue through Meknes, a historic imperial city, and finally arrive in Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel.

DAY 2 : Fes Sightseeing

Today we explore Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city, wandering through its narrow alleys and historic streets. Highlights include the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter with Morocco’s first Mellah built in the 16th century, and the renowned Al Qaraouine University. We’ll also visit the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll explore various artisan cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view over the entire Fes Medina before returning to your riad for the night.

DAY 3 : Fes – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we drive through Azrou to explore its cedar forest, home to the Berber apes. Continuing past Midelt and the Ziz Valley, we stop for lunch in Erfoud before heading through Rissani to reach Merzouga. Here, we swap our 4×4 for camels (optional) and, guided by an experienced camel handler, ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes to the desert campsite. Enjoy a stunning sunset over the sand dunes and a traditional dinner around a campfire. Overnight is spent in Berber tents in the Sahara.

DAY 4 : Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

We rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, then return to a local hotel for breakfast and a quick freshen-up. From Merzouga, we head to Rissani and continue to Tinghir to reach the Todra Gorge, Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorge. After lunch, we drive through the Dades Valley, marveling at the geological formations known as “Monkey Toes.” Overnight is in Dades Valley with dinner and breakfast included.

DAY 5 : Dades Gorge – Ait Benhaddou – Tizi-n-Tichka – Marrakesh

Our journey continues towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, often called “the African Hollywood,” where we may visit a local film studio and kasbah. We then stop at the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest kasbah in Morocco. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, we arrive in Marrakesh, spending the night in a traditional riad in the medina.

DAY 6 : Marrakesh – Casablanca

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakesh, visiting the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore the city or enjoy optional activities before returning to Casablanca, where your tour concludes.
