Itinerary

DAY 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

Your private tour begins with a drive through the Atlas Mountains, stopping in the charming village of Ifrane to explore the famous cedar forest, home to the Berber apes. Continue via the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and Ziz Gorge, pausing for photos and local mint tea, then drive through Midelt to Merzouga. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a local riad.

DAY 2 : Merzouga Desert – Camel Ride to Desert Camp

Spend the day exploring the Erg Chebbi dunes and experiencing the nomadic way of life. Visit the black village of Khamlia and enjoy traditional Gnawa music. Stop in Rissani for a traditional Berber pizza lunch before an afternoon camel ride to watch the sunset over the dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp with a tagine dinner, mint tea, and Berber music around a campfire under the starry Sahara sky.

DAY 3 : Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

After breakfast at a local hotel, drive towards Ouarzazate, stopping at Berber villages along the Todra and Dades Gorges. Spend the night at a hotel in Dades Gorge with a complimentary dinner.

DAY 4 : Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate

Travel through the scenic “Path of a Thousand Kasbahs,” stopping at Kalaat Mgouna in the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival. Overnight stay at a local hotel in Ouarzazate.

DAY 5 : Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a historic ksar featured in films like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. Continue via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass to Marrakech for an overnight stay in a local hotel.

DAY 6 : Marrakech Guided Tour
