Itinerary

DAY 1 : Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

Your journey begins in Marrakech, winding through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, famed for films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate to visit Atlas Film Studios and a historic kasbah. Drive through the scenic Valley of Roses before reaching Dades Gorge, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel with dinner and breakfast included.

DAY 2 : Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

Travel by 4×4 to the stunning Todra Gorge, a colorful canyon beloved by outdoor enthusiasts. Continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, an oasis town famous for fossils, where you can visit a local artisan factory. Explore Rissani’s bustling souk before heading to the desert. At Merzouga, switch to camels and ride into the golden dunes to reach your Berber desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner and music under the starry sky.

DAY 3 : Merzouga Desert

Spend the day exploring the Sahara at your own pace. Options include camel trekking, 4×4 adventures, or visiting Khamlia village, known for its traditional music. End the day with a magical desert sunset and a night around a campfire with Berber food and music.

DAY 4 : Merzouga – Midelt – Fes

Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes and ride camels back to the hotel for breakfast. Drive through Rissani and Erfoud toward Midelt in the Atlas Mountains for a lunch stop. Continue to Fes, where you’ll stay overnight in a local hotel.

DAY 5 : Fes – Casablanca

Discover Fes, Morocco’s oldest city, exploring Fes el Bali (UNESCO World Heritage), Fes-Jdid, and Ville Nouvelle. Visit the Tanneries, Attarine Museum, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, with opportunities to shop at local cooperatives. After lunch and panoramic medina views, drive via Rabat to Casablanca for an overnight stay.

DAY 6 : Casablanca – Marrakech

Explore Casablanca’s main attractions, including the Hassan II Mosque, before concluding your journey back in Marrakech.
