Your 4 days desert tour from Marrakech begins with an early pick-up from your accommodation or Marrakech airport. We drive through the impressive High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops along the way to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
We continue through the scenic Ounila Valley to reach the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fortified village has served as a filming location for movies such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, as well as the TV series Game of Thrones.
After the visit, we head to Ouarzazate, known as “The Gate of the Desert”. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, we explore Ouarzazate, starting with a visit to the Atlas Film Studios, followed by the historic Taourirt Kasbah, an ancient fortified mud-brick castle.
We then depart toward Agdz and join the scenic Draa Valley, the longest river in Morocco. Driving along the valley, we stop to admire palm groves, traditional kasbahs, and Berber villages. Free time for lunch in Nkob or Alnif.
In the afternoon, we continue through Rissani toward the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Upon reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes, you will switch to camels and trek into the desert. Stop atop a high dune to watch a magical Sahara sunset.
Continue to your luxury desert camp, combining traditional nomad tents with modern comfort. Enjoy dinner, Berber drum music, and dancing around the campfire under a star-filled sky. Overnight in the camp.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga village, where your driver awaits.
We leave the desert to visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet and a major trading center with a lively souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Afterward, we continue to Erfoud to visit a workshop of fossilized marble. We then drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the impressive Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon carved by the Todra River. Free time to explore the gorges and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, we head toward the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades, stopping at the famous “monkey fingers” rock formations and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Drop-off at your accommodation or the airport. End of the tour.
