Itinerary

DAY 1 : Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Your private tour begins with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains, stopping at the villages of Azrou and Ifrane to explore the famous cedar forest, home to the Barbary apes. We continue to Midelt, passing through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge, where we’ll pause for photos and enjoy some refreshing local mint tea.

The journey then takes us across the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and the oasis town of Rissani before reaching the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival at the Erg Chebbi dunes, you have the option to switch from the 4×4 to camels for a ride to the desert camp. At the camp, enjoy a traditional dinner and soak in the enchanting atmosphere with music around a campfire beneath the starry and moonlit desert sky.

DAY 2 : Merzouga – Midelt – Fes

Start the day early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. You can also take an optional camel ride back to the village before enjoying a complimentary breakfast at a local hotel. Afterward, we drive back through Rissani and Erfoud, stopping along the way, before continuing through Ifrane and returning to Fes, where your tour concludes.
