Itinerary

DAY 1 : Arrival in Tangier

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival, we’ll meet you and take you on a short city tour of Tangier. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the Medina for check-in and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Chefchaouen, crossing the scenic Rif Mountains along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of Chefchaouen’s charming streets with their iconic blue and white painted houses. Overnight in a local riad or hotel.

Today we travel to Fez, first stopping at Moulay Idriss, an important religious site. Next, we explore Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its well-preserved Roman ruins. Continuing to Meknes, we visit Bab el-Mansour and Bab el-Khamis gates, the Royal Stables, and the Jewish Quarter before arriving in Fez in the late afternoon.

Explore Fez, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. Visit the medieval Medina El Bali, the Merenid Tombs, the Royal Palace, Medersa Bou-Inania or Attarine, Nejjarine with its mosaic fountain, and the Mellah (Jewish Quarter). Overnight in a local riad.

Travel southeast to Merzouga through the Mid-Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests and towns like Ifrane and Azrou. Stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue through the Ziz Valley and Erfoud to Merzouga. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes and stay overnight in Berber nomad tents.

Wake up early for the sunrise over the dunes. Afterward, travel toward Boumalen Dadès, passing Jorf and Tinjdad. Explore the Todra Gorges, have lunch in the area, then continue to Boumalen Dades for overnight stay.

Drive through the Valley of the Roses and continue to Ouarzazate. Visit the Skoura oasis and the Taourirt Kasbah, one of southern Morocco’s most beautiful sites. Optionally, explore the Ouarzazate movie studios. Overnight in a local riad or hotel.

Continue to Marrakech, stopping at the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah. Travel over the highest road pass in North Africa before arriving in Marrakech. Afternoon at leisure, overnight in a riad in the medina.

Discover Marrakech’s highlights including Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, explore the famous Djemaa el Fna square and its bustling souks. Overnight in Marrakech.

Drive to the seaside resort of Agadir. Spend the day at leisure exploring the city or relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Agadir.

Travel to Essaouira (Mogador), famous for fishing, windsurfing, and kite surfing. Explore the colorful harbor and the charming medina. Overnight in Essaouira.

Continue along the coastal road to Casablanca, stopping in Safi and El Jadida along the way. In Casablanca, enjoy free time to explore the city. Overnight in a local hotel.

Visit Casablanca’s highlights including Place Mohamed V, Parc de la Ligue Arabe, and the Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, drive to Rabat and visit Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Overnight in Rabat.

Drive to Asilah, a peaceful Atlantic coastal town known for its whitewashed houses with blue accents and art-filled Medina. Explore the town and stay overnight in a local riad.

After breakfast, drive back to Tangier. Visit some local sites before being transferred to the port or airport for your departure, concluding your 15-day Moroccan journey.
