Itinerary

DAY 1 : Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains, passing by the charming city of Tetouan. Along the way, we’ll pause to enjoy the stunning landscapes before arriving in Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. Its medina, with its Spanish-influenced architecture, colorful artisan shops, and rooftop cafés, offers the perfect setting to relax and soak in the magical atmosphere. Overnight stay in a local riad.

After breakfast, we continue toward Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman ruins that showcase Morocco’s ancient history. We’ll then head to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, where you’ll discover the impressive Bab El Mansour gate, the Royal Stables, and Moulay Ismail’s shrine. In the afternoon, we travel onward to Fes, where you’ll spend the night.

Today is dedicated to exploring the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco—Fes. Our guided tour takes you through the labyrinthine medina, starting at the Royal Palace gates and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). You’ll visit landmarks such as the ancient Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, enjoy a panoramic view over the old medina before returning to your riad.

We set off towards the Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane—known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”—and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the Barbary apes. Continuing via the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass and the Ziz Valley, we’ll reach Merzouga by evening. Here, you’ll settle into a desert camp and experience a magical night under the stars in the Sahara.

Wake up to the beauty of the desert sunrise, then freshen up at a nearby hotel before continuing toward Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon popular with hikers and climbers. We’ll pass through traditional Berber villages en route to the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a charming local hotel with dinner included.

After breakfast, our journey continues along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, with a stop at Kalaat Mgouna, famous for its Rose Festival. We’ll then drive to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco, before reaching the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a filming location for “Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones.” Overnight stay nearby.

Crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, we descend toward Marrakech before continuing to the Atlantic coast. Our destination is Essaouira, the laid-back “Pearl of the Atlantic.” After checking into your riad, enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the city’s ramparts, followed by a fresh seafood dinner.

Today you’ll explore Essaouira, once known as Mogador. Its medina—painted in blue and white—is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its vibrant souks, Portuguese fortifications, and sweeping Atlantic beaches. The evening is free to relax in a traditional riad.

After a relaxed morning by the coast, we travel to Marrakech. Upon arrival, check into your riad or hotel and enjoy free time to start exploring the city’s buzzing atmosphere.

Today you’ll discover the Red City on a full-day guided tour. Highlights include the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. You’ll also explore the colorful souks and artisan quarters. In the afternoon, visit the Majorelle Gardens and Menara Gardens, then enjoy free time to wander at your own pace.

After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight. End of tour with unforgettable memories of Morocco.
