You’ll also explore the modern district of Gueliz, as well as the serene Menara Gardens and the world-famous Majorelle Garden. After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy some free time to experience the city at your own pace.

Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular fortified village featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa”, where you’ll explore the Atlas Film Studios and a local Kasbah. The journey then takes you through the fragrant Valley of Roses before reaching Dades Gorge, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional hotel or riad.

After breakfast, travel to the dramatic Todra Gorge, a colorful canyon popular with hikers and nature lovers. Continue through the scenic Ziz Valley to Erfoud, famous for its fossils and artisan workshops. Visit a local factory and browse fossil-made crafts before heading to Rissani, known for its vibrant souk. By late afternoon, arrive at Merzouga, where you’ll trade your vehicle for a camel trek into the desert dunes. Settle into a Berber desert camp, enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, and end the evening with tribal music and a campfire in the heart of the Sahara.

Spend the day uncovering the wonders of the Merzouga desert. Choose between a camel trek across the dunes or a 4×4 excursion. Visit Khamlia village, home to Gnawa musicians and their soulful rhythms. In the evening, don’t miss the breathtaking sunset over the Sahara dunes before returning to a small riad or hotel for the night.

After breakfast, journey through Rissani and Erfoud, heading north toward the Atlas Mountains. Stop in Midelt for lunch, then enjoy free time to explore this peaceful town at your leisure. Overnight stay in a local hotel.

This morning, continue your journey with a stop in Azrou, where you’ll visit a cedar forest and may spot the playful Barbary monkeys. Drive through Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture, before arriving in Fes. Overnight in a local hotel or riad.

Discover the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco with a guided tour of Fes, the country’s oldest imperial city. Highlights include the ornate Royal Palace gates, the historic Jewish Quarter, and key landmarks such as the University of Al Quaraouine, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Spend the afternoon exploring the bustling medina before dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Fes.

Leave Fes behind and travel through the Rif Mountains to the picturesque blue-washed town of Chefchaouen. Wander its charming medina and enjoy an overnight stay in a traditional riad or hotel.

After breakfast, spend a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen before departing for Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Explore its main attractions and have lunch before continuing to Casablanca, the country’s largest city, where you’ll spend the night.
